Removing The Seat

Remove the bolts in the front floor.

 

 

 

 

The 2 rear bolts are under plastic caps, pry them up with a flat screwdriver.

 

 

 

 

Place the seat where the two tracks are in alignment with eachother. Raise the seat all the way up until it stops then back down a little so they aren't at the extreme end.

 

 

 

 

It is helpful to remove the headrest, use the adjustment button and the smaller release button on the right.

 

 

 

 

Headrest removed.

 

 

 

 

Rock the seat out of it's grooves and tilt it forward.

 

 

 

 

Find the large power connector, using a pliers or flat screwdriver slide the red tab out of the way and disconnect the main power. (image 1/3)

Remove the 3 main motor connections making note of where each one goes.

 

 

 

 

 

Remove the plastic plugs attaching the wireing harness to the frame by pressing on the tabs with a flat screw driver.

 

 

 

 

 

There are 4 nuts holding the frame to the seat, they are between the foam of the seat and the broken frame. Locate them by looking for the head of the weld stud here.
